At 2:46 PM on Friday, March 11th, Japan was hit by a magnitude 8.9 earthquake that caused a devastating 13-foot tsunami near its northeastern coast. As it currently stands, it is approximately the fifth largest earthquake in recorded history.
Our thoughts are with everyone in Japan experiencing this shocking disaster.
