K-ON! Movie Release Date Announced

After waiting for a year, the premiere date of K-ON! Movie was announced at the live event “Come With Me!”, held at Saitama Super Arena on February 20. The exact date is December 3, so everybody inJapan will have to wait till then and we unfortunate beings outside Japan will have to wait even longer. In the words of director Naoko Yamada at the K-ON! Movie, it will be an original story set while the main protagonists were still high-school students.

A Pony Canyon publicity representative who goes by the name “nojitetsu” confirmed on Twitter that director Naoko Yamadaannounced the release date for the previously revealed K-ON! film: December 3. Yamada made the announcement at Sunday’s “Come with Me!!” live event.
